The average regime stress ratio (RSR) (top) and its standard deviation (bottom) on the profile AA′ with a vertical exaggeration of 1:2. The southward dipping Malm units are clearly delineated by an increase in standard deviation. The RSR is a continuous scale from 0 to 3 to discuss the stress regime (Simpson 1997). A value of 0.5 is pure normal faulting (NF), 1.5 is pure strike-slip faulting (SS), and 2.5 is pure thrust faulting (TF)
