Thermal conductivity measurements of basement rocks. Basement layer numbers correspond to their respective profile, layers 1–5 are composed of the Gulgong Granite, layers 6–10 are composed of the Bathurst and Oberon Granite, and layers 11–12 are composed of the Wyangala and Oberon Granite. Thermal conductivities consistently decrease at higher temperatures. Error margin remains relatively low, with higher uncertainty at lower temperatures
