Photograph during January, 2016 excavation of pit into dark-gray sheared quartzite, sheared pieces embedded in gray gummy clay. Resulting reservoir is ~ 12 m deep. This clayey material apparently lies within or beneath the quartzite just east of the hot springs. No bedding planes observed (clean exposure is left side of photo). No pyrite or visible mineralization observed in the clay or rock. Location is 0516550E, 2207200N
